The author of the following article makes a compelling case that the majority of Christian churches in America have become indifferent to the immorality, cruelty and dishonesty that define almost every community in America today; I fully concur with him on this:
What Dr. Shepherd describes concerning a fictional old book online, published in 1896, entitled, In His Steps: What Would Jesus Do? that he read this week ought to make all of us ponder, Why are we here and what does it mean to be truly human and truly alive, decent and noble? The answers to these questions ought to be quite simple and straightforward to answer. But in today's world, they are not. And that conclusion alone is both pathetic and tragic. It ought to stop all of us in our tracks and force us to rethink our entire life purpose and its meaning. But in truth, for most people alive today, life has no meaning or purpose other than to maximize one's short-term pleasure and minimize one's short-term pain, even if it comes at the expense of others. This is what happens when a civilization has abandoned all pretenses at faith (trust) in God and living a moral life: doing that which is right, no matter how unpopular it may be. In short, if we believe that God does not exist, that there is no eternal accountability for our actions in life, then we live hedonistic lives like brute animals and to hell with the consequences upon others. This is summed up by the occultist Aleister Crowley and other moral deviants who advocated, "Do as thou wilt." If the majority of any community live this way, life becomes brutal, savage, violent, mean and short.
Does anyone really about care about anyone but themselves today? Very few do. In such times, William Golding's book, Lord of the Flies, describes how teenage boys marooned on a pacific island, develop their own brutal social norms and savagely abuse and murder one of their own, and become brute savage barbarians as a result.
Just look at the numerous examples in our world over the last six years of the utter depravity, cowardice and ignoble, selfish acts of those purporting to be those holding positions of power and influence we ought to be able to hold to a higher standard of conduct than the population at large. A nation or world that does not make doing that which is right an absolute moral value is one that does not deserve to exist. Consider this:
How is it that we wasted four years witnessing the circus of Russiagate under Donald Trump's Presidency that was so clearly instigated by opposition research conducted by Hillary Clinton's failed run for the Presidency?
How is it that billions of people the world over were subjected to useless, ineffective, overtly harmful lockdowns, mask wearing mandates and clot shots posing as vaccines that were neither safe nor effective and we all had no right not to know this?
How is it that we continue to be subjected to obvious government mind-controlled psyop school shootings designed to provide a pretext to strip us of our constitutional rights to own and possess firearms to defend ourselves from our own tyrannical and hideously dishonest government who would like nothing more than to mass murder all of us with impunity?!?
How was it possible for politicians on both sides of the aisle to collude with one another to enable the election and voter fraud in the 20202 selection circus to install the most morally deviant man in our 246 year history to play the role of Puppet-in-Chief of our failed once constitutional republic?!? And how was it that almost everyone went along with it?
How could anyone threaten the security of Russia and the lives of Russian-speaking people living in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine and think that Putin and Russia did not have a moral imperative and legitimate security interest to put a stop to the mass murder and madness instigated by the United States since its Maidan coup in 2014, to the tune of $5 billion in U.S. regime change money spent?
And finally, how can anyone not now see that all of these events are a very bad omen for the entire world signaling to all of us that the world is on the brink of ending in scorching heat and fire at the hands of an angry, just, righteous and all-powerful, all-knowing God who has had enough of the vast majority of mankind alive today? And where are the church pastors calling out their wayward flocks for living by doing the work of the devil?
I must confess, I am totally drained and spent spiritually and emotionally, as I witness a world all around me that behave as immoral brutal beasts and selfish barbarian savages. For the last decade or so, I have been acutely aware of the fact that I have been walking among a sea of humanity, the vast majority of whom, are soon going to die a violent and horrible death at the hands of a holy, just, righteous and all-powerful God who has had enough. I can see that it is the only solution to mankind's rebellion and wickedness. I do not delight in this inevitable coming horror. But I am more than ready for the madness and the cruelty of godless and heartless mankind to end. How about you?
